Wrestling Clinic this Saturday at Neosho Community College

A forum for any topics that do not belong in the designated categories below.
Forum rules
1. Only leave links to other websites that clearly add to the conversation. Any blatant promotion of another site will be removed and the poster will be warned and possibly banned. While it's fine to have a very relevant link (fitness, diets and health as it relates to those topics) in your signature, don't try and increase the visibility of your signature by posting short answers to questions such as 'LOL'.

2. A forum is a place where you can interact with people from all over the world. This will lead to the exchange of ideas that you may not completely agree with. It is OK to debate others and defend your point of view, however there is a fine line between doing it in a respectful way and making people feel unwelcome. Always stand up for what you believe in, but do it in a way that won't lead to unfriendly and bitter rivalries. We should all be friends here, so please argue accordingly.

3. Listen to the moderators. They are here to help answer questions and make conversations run more smoothly. You can find them by clicking the members button at the top. All moderators have green text for their names. Don't hesitate to message them with any questions or concerns.

4. Avoid using 'bad' words. This is a board for all age groups and we all know that some words or phrases aren't appropriate for everyone. If you have a really good argument, 'bad' words aren't necessary to get the point across.

WRESTLING CLINIC

Neosho wrestling will host a clinic from 9:30am-11:30am and 1pm-3pm on Saturday, November 1 on the NCCC campus in the wrestling building. Cost will be $10 for the 4 hour split clinic. A little bit of everything from work on the feet to top and bottom position will be offered. Lunch Break (on your own) from 11:31-12:59.

Registration will open up at 8:45am. This clinic is open to all athletes of all age levels and abilities up to the 12th grade.

The following day we will host a double dual with Kansas State and Texas-Arlington and will let those that came to the clinic admission for half price to see 3 duals! Duals will be regularly priced at $6 for the entire day for adults ($2 per dual!) High School and non Neosho College students (with valid I.D.) and down age wise will be admitted for $4 for the day’s events unless they attended the clinic, then they will be admitted for $2 for the day!

This clinic has been advertised in Oklahoma, Kansas and now Arkansas, so we are expecting a nice mix of talent from the regional area.

By the way for those interested, our website for NCCC wrestling is: http://www.neosho.edu/athletics/wrestling/index.asp

Please feel free to browse, check out our weight room photos, roster, schedule and so much more.

Also for those looking to stay the night and come to the dual the next day, here is a reccomendation of some hotels in the area that I personally reccomend:

Super 8 Chanute‎ -
3502 South Santa Fe, Chanute, KS‎ - (316) 431-7788‎
"Features Free High Speed Wireless Internet Access, Interior Corridors, Expanded Cable Television with HBO, ESPN,...my family stayed there for my wedding last week"

Tioga Suites Hotel‎
12 East Main Street, Chanute, KS‎ - (620) 431-3343‎
"The Tioga Suites Hotel was built in 1929 and is on the National Historic Register" This is a nice antiquated hotel...they do have a website: tiogasuites.com

Guest House Motor Inn‎
1814 S Santa Fe Ave, Chanute, KS‎ - (620) 431-0600‎
You can get 2 doubles in a non smoking room with mini fridge, cable tv, internet, for $45 without any discounts! Very clean
